If you use a fair amount of electricity in the evenings and your solar feed-in rate is low, which it increasingly is, then storing your own daytime solar and using it at night usually beats selling it cheap and buying it back at full price.

  • Many battery systems can, yes. With backup set up, the battery can keep your essential circuits running through an outage, so things like the fridge, some lights and power points stay on when the grid goes down. Not every system or installation includes blackout backup by default, so it is something to decide on up front, and we will set it up if that is what you want.

    It is a genuinely useful feature, especially through storm season.
