  • You can, but it is slow, often only 10 to 15 kilometres of range per hour, and a standard socket is not designed to run at full load overnight, every night.

    A dedicated charger is several times faster and is installed on its own protected circuit, which is the safer way to draw that much power for hours at a time.

  • We install chargers compatible with all the major vehicles sold in Australia, including Tesla, BYD, Kia, Hyundai, MG, BMW and more.

    We can supply and install a quality charger suited to your car and budget, or install a unit you have already purchased, wired to the same standard either way.

  • That is the first thing we check. Many Gold Coast homes have the capacity, but older switchboards or homes with big air conditioning and pool loads sometimes need an upgrade first.

    We assess your board and supply before quoting, so you know exactly what is involved and there are no surprises on installation day.

  • A straightforward home installation, with the charger close to the switchboard, is usually done in a few hours. Longer cable runs or a switchboard upgrade add to that.
